Melanie is very anxious. It is her birthday and she knows soon she will move out and has to make it on her own. It is not something she is looking forward to, but she has to do it. It is starting to be a tradition in her family for the oldest kid to start with nothing on an empty plot of land in a for them unknown town. Melanie blows out the candles. Magic light appears! Melanie is now a young adult. Melanie's last meal is strawberry cake. Then it is time to say goodbye. Bye daddy! I'm going to miss you! Even though Melanie and her mom had their differences, she still is going to miss her a lot. Bye mom! Then Melanie leaves to start a new life in Oasis Springs.
It's Jack's birthday! Now both Jaycee and Jack have got grey hairs. Jack's brother and sister haven't turned in elderly sims yet, but their time will come very soon. Jaycee and Jack have been together for years, and they still are a cute couple. Jack has made promotion. Now he has to work less and gets to spend more time with Jaycee. It is a beautiful day. Jaycee and Jack decide to sit outside to enjoy looking at their new birdfeeder. It's so nice to sit together.
Melanie is cooking and her parents are looking over her shoulder. It makes her so nervous that she cuts herself. Ouch! Tada....Melanie cooked a meal. Jaycee is working out while Jack works on composing routines (which he needs for his work as a comedian). Melanie liks to watch television while eating. Today Melanie came home from school, ran to her bed and dissapeared under the blankets. something embarrassing happend at school and now she is hiding from the world. There is a teenage girl at the door. After Melanie feels a bit better she goes to chat with the girl. On no, not again. I see there is tension again between Jaycee and Melanie! They make it up, but they are no longer friends. Their friendship status dropped so low....so sad.
James invited Melanie and Jack to go to the flea market. But first they play basket ball. Jack buys a my sims throphy. Then his brother starts yelling at him. James is not pleased that Jack went to buy things without letting the others know where he was going. But they make it up to each other again. Jack tries to sell something, but no one is interested. Jack is arguing with the person who is trying to sell things on the table next to him. This is not just a case of rivalry between sellers. You might not recognise him, but it is the little kleptomaniac kid who stole from the Keller family when Melanie was a kid. Melanie was still playing basket ball and is not happy that everyone left her behind. She goes to eat something...alone. The night is still young, so when they are invited to go to a party they decide to go. And there Melanie sees her grandpa! Party time! And you know...when there is a party there is of course Willow! Melanie finally gets to meet her grandmother. Melanie doesn't like the party. She is dirty, tired and wants to go home. Poor thing, she falls asleep on top of the stones. She isn't supposed to sleep outside on stones until she is older and is kicked out of the house! After a nap, Melanie joins the party again. Now everyone is dancing around the fire.
When I was not looking this happend... Ehm...let't not comment on that LOL Jaycee likes to talk to Jack when he is gardening. Good thing she wasn't there earlier! It hadn't happened in a while, but Jack worked himself to exhaustion. I invited a teen into the home, so Melanie can talk to someone of her age. But guess what? Jack found out he is a kleptomaniac! Luckily, Jack could get him out of the door before he stole anything. The relationship between Melanie and Jaycee suffered through all the fights, but it is going better. They are friends agian. The next day while Melanie is still sleeping, her parents are having breakfast in her room! So strange! It is such a lovely spot to sit! lol Melanie is not amused.
Melanie leaves for school... ...now Jaycee can relax. She makes a cup of tea to feel energized again! All those arguments seem to drain away all her energy. That evening Jack goes fishing with Jane and Melanie. The girls are soon tired of fishing and leave Jack to it. Melanie is multitasking: food and homework! Melanie and Jaycee are yelling at each other again! No one knows why Melanie keeps starting arguments with her mom, but it looks like she feels good about herself after yelling at her mom. Oops, I missed Jaycee's birthday. Now that Jaycee is a senior, Melanie behaves better. I haven't caught her yelling at her mom for a while. Such a relief! I guess it was just a phase. Let's hope it stays quiet like this! I never saw her yell at her dad, only at mom. A happy birthday hug from Jack to Jaycee.
Melanie has got a lovely new teenager room, but she sleeps on the bench? Melanie, you have a new bed! You should claim it and sleep there lol Jaycee and Melanie keep having arguments. It is now a daily thing. Jack promises Jaycee that he will talk to Melanie about her behaviour. Jack tries to get Melanie to talk to her mom again, but she refuses. Thanks for trying! Eventually, Melanie makes it up to Jaycee but it is only waiting for the next argument. The yelling between Jaycee and Melanie do not put a straint on the relationship between Jack and Jaycee. They are still very much in love. Some teenagers are grossed out when their parents are levey-dovey. Not Melanie, when her parents kiss she just continues watching television over their shoulders. lol Melanie now behaves well when Jack is in the room, but the moment he leaves she starts again... Melanie isn't always yelling, she likes to scare her mom too.
I'm a zombie girl! Braaaiiinnnsss! Melanie takes one last selfie with mom before it is time for her to grow up, because today is Melanie's birthday and she will be a teenager soon. She blows out her candles. She is looking quite singed! Blowing out birthday candles is dangerous... The birthday cake wasn't singed at all and is delicious! After taking a shower, Jack takes a selfie with Melanie. She looks so pretty and looks a lot like her mother. She might look innocent, but she isn't. She is mean! She stood staring out of the window for a long time. What is she plotting? I think she was plotting how to make her moms life miserable. She goes outside and starts yelling at Jaycee. One minute she looks very angry at her mother, and the next minute she smiles sweetly at her father. She still is daddy's little girl.
Melanie got a replacement horse for the one that was stolen. Now her best friend is a unicorn, who is the sweetest unicorn in the whole world! Uni would never steal something. Her favourite toy is clay! She can play with it for hours. Jaycee tries out playing with clay too and makes a pretty creation! Melanie loves to chat with her mom and often can be found looking at how Jaycee is working out. Melanie does some working out of her own, but then in a very different way. They have got a new pool, but Jaycee doesn't seem to like it. Though she does like to swim with Jack. Here they are on a family outing. Jack and Melanie play chess.
